The life of a dog.  Some dogs do live better then others though.  How about having a 3 million dollar trust fund, and living in an 7 bedroom, 8.3 million dollar mansion.  The life of that dog… a Chihuahua names “Conchita”…  I’ll spare you the details but you can read about it in the link below.

It does raise some interesting questions for us though.  What or who are you living for?  Money tells us a lot about our priorities.  In fact I think you can tell a lot about a person by observing what they spend their money on (For where your treasure is, there your heart will be also. -Matt. 6:21).  In a sense, looking at our receipts may well tell us what we worship (worship – being the object of our devotion).  How about you?  Where does your money go?  Does much of it go to others, or investing where you see God kingdom being built?

Your turn:

1.  Say you had 3 million in your estate and you’re writing your will.  Where does the money go?

2.  What adjustments can you make in your spending to be more in line with Gods priorities for your life?

Josh- that’s hilarious! What about the pet killer whale?

…On a more serious note, what about investing the 3 million and having the dividends pay out to an organization or church?? Is that ethical? Biblical?

Josh- Didn’t know you had such affection for Glen… Although that answers some very troubling questions iv’e had about you…

    Hey Noah.

    1. I would hope that $2 million would go to the church and $1 million would go to my immediate family. Most likely though, 90% would go to Glen my Hampster. I just could not enjoy heaven without knowing his favorite movie ‘Ratatouille’ would be playing continuousl on his 70′ inch plasma and his 1100 square foor cage would be lined with fine woven silk from the Middle East. I mean come on…. Do you think I would be a good pet owner if I let him drag his ass on anything else??? I don’t think so.

    2. The first thing that comes to mind for me is eating out. I am very lazy when it comes to making food or going grocery shopping so most of the time, I am eating out. I am wasting a lot of money this way and it would be good for me to change this.
