  1. I’m only a month late on this one!!!

Women’s Bible study fell on Valentine’s day this year, and I found something in Beth Moore’s “Breaking Free” study which ended up being the topic with the girls that night… It was an eye opener to me, and I hope this is the “lasting love” I remember year in and year out!

“Sons are a heritage from the Lord, children a reward from him. Like arrows in the hands of a warrior are sons born in one’s youth.” Psalm 127:3-4
According to this Psalm, sons are arrows.
“-He has sent me to bind up the brokenhearted” Isaiah 61:1
The Hebrew for “sent” in this verse is “shalack” which means “to shoot forth.”
“For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life. For God did not send his Son into the world to condemn the world, but to save the world through him.” John 3:16-17

So, God SENT (shot forth) his SON (an arrow). Here’s where we replace cupid with something a bit more substantial.
What if instead of thinking of cupid once a year, we realized the gravity of God the Father aiming Jesus into our lives… The true representation of grace and sacrificial love, everyday?
